I love these! I am and older dancer (in my 70's) and have danced on and off since childhood. Unlike the old canvas ballet slippers I used to get, the split soles did not need any breaking in before they felt comfortable, and I can point my feet more easily as well. The stretch canvas also doesn't need time and use to stretch to a good fit. My feet are in the front and I have arthritis in both big toes, but amazingly, these shoes were comfortable right out of the box. I also like that they are foot-specific, since my right and left feet have always been slightly different sizes. I will definitely buy another pair when these wear out.

The sizing chart is not accurate. My daughter's shoe size is women's size 7, which would be a size 5M per the chart. It was WAY too small. I highly recommend going up a full shoe size.
