The shoes are great! The One only issue I had was that the sizing guide suggested that as an adult I size up half a size so they are actually a little bigger than I wish they were. I should have ordered my actual shoe size 8 instead. I didn’t have a lot of time to return and exchange for my accurate size. So, I purchased some backing gels to fill in the gaping in the back but otherwise the shoes and quality is perfect. I will be ordering again.

To start, this is my first pair of character shoes ever. I wanted them YEARS ago but my reasons weren’t good enough for my parents. I bought these for a college production of Chicago and ours was more dance heavy than other productions. I think these are AWESOME! The leather on the ball of the shoe really helps with turns and they held up through auditions to show and they still are great. The only possible hiccup is my ankles kept rolling but my ankle strength is no where near what is was when I did competitive dance and pointe. Again, I’m VERY new to character shoes and I have nothing to compare them to but I love these!

I miss the old buckle. It used to be a tension strap for quick changes. Now I have to deal deal a pin and it frankly makes me angry every time I use them.
