Ladies Elastosplit Canvas Ballet Shoes

Elastosplit shoes last longer for me because the elastic arch keeps the fit nice and snug, but stretches enough to allow my big toe the room it needs when I point and flex. For that reason the shoes last longer since I don’t poke through as soon as I usually do. And I like how I can have a nice fit without it feeling too tight around my toes. The openness in the arch area also allows my feet to breathe, and they get less sweaty. Another reason the shoes seem to last longer is that they air-out faster. And finally, they look pretty! They show off my arches. It took two or three classes to dial in my favorite way of slipping them on and then it became natural. I highly recommend trying them.

They run very big and are very wide. They are not meant for slender feet. Unfortunately I didn't see the size recommendations staying to order 2.5 sizes smaller. That is ridiculous

I love these shoes! They make my foot look gorgeous and I don't feel like I have a bunch of fabric at my arch with is super helpful for my high arches

These are myabsolute favorite ballet slippers. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrom like many other ballerinas and these help me so much. They don't put any extra pressure on my feet and just let me do all the work. I appreciate them so much.

I gave the Elastosplit X three stars because I think it has the potential to work for some feet, buy it didn't work for mine. I have been wearing and loving the Elastosplit Pi since 2006 and luckily I purchased so many pairs when they were being discontinued that I still have some left years later. I was hoping the Elastosplit X would fit close enough to the same that I could switch to using it. Sadly size 6C in the Pi that I love was too short and narrow in the X. I wish Bloch would bring back the Elastosplit Pi!!!

Here are a couple of reasons why both Elastosplit styles are awesome:
- They are great for people with long big toes that shoot through the front of the shoe before the rest of the shoe is worn out. The Elastosplit helps this by having elastic holding the front and back of the shoe together allowing the shoe to stretch to the length of the big toe without having to get a shoe that is to baggy for the rest of your toes that are shorter.
- There's no fabric in the way of showing off the arch of your foot.
