Maria Tsiatsiani
Choreographer | Dancer | Artistic Director
Maria Tsiatsiani is an award-winning Argentine Tango dancer, choreographer, and judge for the World Tango Championships. She’s performed in over 50 countries, choreographed more than 10 London West End shows, and is known for her powerful stage presence and artistic precision. Resident choreographer for the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing (the UK’s version of Dancing with the Stars) and a TV personality regular on British television; Maria shares the beauty of Tango with millions. She also co-directs London Tango Academy—voted Best Tango School worldwide (2018–19) and Best UK Dance School (2023–24). Now a Bloch Ambassador, she meticulously helped guide the design for the new line of Argentine Tango shoes. On stage, on screen, or in class—Maria’s passion is to inspire connection through the art of dance.
